Become a Member
Membership of the NBO
There is no need to become a member of the NBO if you or your organisation simnply wish to support the NBO, take part in campaigns and attend events. However, we encourage organisations who have supported us for a year or more, and who want to become more involved in what we do, to apply for membership. Becoming a member of the NBO means that you sign up formally to our aims and code of conduct and that you are able to vote at appropriate NBO meetings. You may also wish to offer candidates for committee roles and to contribute ideas, resources and venues. The scope is wide and the NBO depends upon well-intentioned Buddhist organisations offering their support.
Membership gives you a greater ability to influence the direction taken by the NBO, and you can play an important part in developing NBO policy.
Please complete the form below if you are a Buddhist Organisation that is either wanting to renew NBO membership or have been a Supporter for a year or more and want to apply for Membership status.
