Support the NBO

The NBO invites your support

If you are inspired by the teachings of the Buddha and would like to help Buddhism to flourish in the UK, then join the NBO. This is simple to do. You can register as an individual Buddhist or as a representative of a Buddhist group or organisation.

Once registered you will be kept informed of our activities and be welcome to participate.

Just as a reminder, our aims are:

a) To promote fellowship and dialogue between Buddhist Organisations.
b) To facilitate cooperation in matters of common interest.
c) To work in harmony with Buddhist and other like minded organisations

We do not endorse Buddhist traditions or groups and operate on the basis of Right Action.

Our membership fees are £15 for individuals and £25 for organisational supporters.

If you are unwaged or unable to afford a donation you can still go ahead and complete our supporter form. We use all donations to improve our website, our publicity and our services to the Buddhist Community. If you are able to make an additional donation this will be put to good use.

Please make cheques payable to NBO Admin, write your name and address on the back of the cheque and send to NBO Treasurer, Telford Buddhist Priory, 49, The Rock, Telford, TF3 5BH

Alternatively you can make a donation through Paypal with the donate button.

Over time you, or your organisation, may wish to become more involved. There are many possibilities. You may wish to offer venues for meetings, to provide skills or time to organising activities or campaigns, or to join the NBO committee in some role. You may wish to partner with other Buddhist groups or to suggest campaigns that would benefit the Buddhist community.

The possibilities are very wide. And amongst the many benefits for you are that you meet other Buddhists from all backgrounds and may be able to play an important role in intra-faith, inter-faith, governmental, educational and many other areas of engagement.

Finally, we encourage you to join our facebook group: Buddhism UK. This enables you to meet and interact with other NBO supporters and to upload information about your Buddhist group and activities.
