NBO Annual Gathering 24th October

We hope to move the conversation on from last year’s topic ‘What is Buddhism For?’ and this year we are asking:

‘What motivates us? What mobilises us? How can we maximise our impact?’

Our Buddhist practices and understanding guide us in our choices and actions. What unique perspectives can we offer as Buddhists? How can we share the insights and attitudes based on this transformative practice with wider society?

We are arranging 3 short inspirational speakers and then hope to have an interesting discussion.

Nick Donaldson the Head of Faith Charities Engagement will also be joining us to develop connections between the Charities Commission and Buddhist Organisations as well as let us know how he can help with uncertainties we might have about acting in accordance with Charities Commission rules.
