We were deeply saddened to hear of Rev. Saido’s passing away on Friday 3rd March 2023.
Rev. Saido was a member of the NBO committee for many years, and was also our treasurer for many years. He was a monk within the Order of Buddhist Contemplatives, and was Prior of Telford Buddhist Priory.He was deeply dedicated to his work, within the NBO, in his spiritual directorship of Telford Priory and as a prison chaplain.
We will miss his gentle presence in our meetings and in our lives. We will miss his humour and his wisdom. Through him we were made aware of the presence of the incomparable light of the Buddha.
